If you adopted a pet which you found on this web page we'd love to know.

Perry here (formerly called Zag). I just wanted to let you know that I am enjoying the family I adopted. I guess the tactic of being super gentle and cuddly at the shelter won their hearts!!! My true nature shone through.

My family loves me! It has been two weeks in my new home and I have settled in very nicely with the two other cats (Moo Moo and Pocus) and the two children. I recently had a cold but am better now. My family has discovered that in addition to cuddling, I love to have my tummy rubbed! Here is a picture of me and Sam - as you can see, he is very excited that I have adopted him!
I love my new family and home.

Perry (aka Skiddy Kitty because I skid on the floor when I play tag with mom!)

Hi my name is Jen, I am 14 and got my little bundle of love about 3 years ago at the KHS. I really really wanted a kitten, something to keep me company. I had found the right one but after coming back from my vacation found that she had been adopted. Still wanting a pet I searched the humane society for the perfect one. I found her. One of five little kittens. She is a tabby n white and goes by the name of princess. She enjoys watching birds and the sheep and chasing lasers.

I would like to thank the family that gave Jack (right in pic) up. He is such a beautiful boy. He now has lots of love and affection. I am a work at home mom and he has someone with him all the time. I would also like to thank my Mom for telling me to take a look at the Collie on the website because he was having a "Bad Hair Day"...and I am sure my husband would like to thank her too because he came home to a third dog in the house because I went straight to the shelter as soon as I saw the site.

We already have a collie (left in pic) and I all could picture was him in that cage with no family to love him. I knew he was an older dog but I wanted to make his last years of his life the best years of his life and I know we can do that. I don't think he had ever had a bath or been groomed but now he has been to the hairdressers and looks amazingly gorgeous.

Our Pomeranian, Sabre is just fine with him too because Tribe isn't driving him crazy anymore wanting him to play. Tribe and Jack rough house around and have a great time together. It was pretty much an instant connection. I took Tribe to the shelter to meet Jack before I decided to bring him home and Jack kissed Tribe and their tails were wagging so I knew things were going to be Ok. Last of all I would like to thank my husband for not sending us all out the door with our bags and being such a great and understanding guy by letting Jack stay and me too of course.
